WPL-2019: Kaka x1 Sumbal win by 7 wickets

Sopore, May 06: Chasing the Victory target of 106 runs, Kaka x1 won by 7 wickets on Monday here at here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore.

Muneeb scored 50 unbeaten and Jehangir scored 43 runs. Earlier, X1 Brothers were restricted on 105 runs. Danish 28 and Gowhar Rashid made 25 runs for Kaka x1 Sumbal. Umer Nabi and Syed Rashid took 3 wickets.

Muneeb was declared Man of the Match for his 50 runs knock.

In the second match of the day, Chadoora X1 faced Bhat Sports Hail. After winning the toss, Chadoora Xi opted to bat first and they scored 135 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Shabir lefty made 31 runs and Zubair contributed 23 runs to the total.

For Bhat Sports Hail, Mohammad Amir took 3 wickets, while as Ubaid and Aqib bagged 2 wickets each.

In reply, after early hiccups, Bhat Sports came back strong and achieved the target in 20th over for the loss of 8 wickets.

Mehraj made 36 runs and Ibrahim played the wining knock of 39 runs at the end and helped his team to cross the line. Bhat Sports hail won the match by 2 wickets.

Later at the prize distribution function, Ibrahim was adjudged Man of the Match for his match wining knock of 39 runs.
