Srinagar: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq said on Monday that Omar Abdullah-led government will fulfill all commitments, including 12 guarantees and 26 promises made with the people of Jammu and Kashmir during elections, and maintained the services of daily-wager, contractual and casual employees will be made regularised soon.

He said the recent decision of age relaxation in Competitive Combined Examination (CCE) was the forth biggest decision of Omar Abdullah-led government, and asserted that all genuine concerns of people will be addressed within a passage of time.

“It was a long-pending demand of people as there was no recruitment in J&K for the last ten years. Our educated youth were unable to take part in recruitment examinations. The recent decision to relax the age bar in Competitive Combined Exams (CCE) was the fourth biggest decision of the Omar Abdullah-led government. I congratulate Omar Abdullah for taking this decision and our youngsters as well as they will be able now to participate in recruitment exams,” MLA Zadibal was quoted as saying by a local news agency.

He said the government is committed to fulfill all promises made with the people – “including 12 guarantees and 26 promises in a gradual manner”.

Today J&K has a civilian government which can feel the pain of its people, and address their problems promptly, Sadiq said.

“Be it resolution on statehood, 200 units of free electricity, increase in ration quota… all will be addressed and resolved in coming times,” he said.

He said the services of daily-wagers, contractual and casual employees will also be regularised soon.

“We have taken up this issue in our manifesto. The government wants their dignified regularisation. We are stepping ahead in resolving issues gradually. The regularization process will take some time, but we are committed to resolve all issues. We demand statehood to J&K, because we want things to be addressed without any roadblocks,” he said.
