The meeting was attended by senior officers, including the Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti and Irrigation & Flood Control Kashmir, besides Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers from various divisions, who briefed the Minister on the status of ongoing schemes, irrigation infrastructure and departmental performance.

During the meeting, Rana directed officers to ensure timely completion of all projects, strengthen monitoring mechanisms and improve service delivery at the grassroots level. He stressed the need for effective implementation of schemes, prompt redressal of public grievances and optimal utilisation of available resources.

“Timely delivery of services to the people is non-negotiable. Officers must remain actively engaged in the field and work in close coordination to ensure effective execution of departmental programmes,” the Minister said.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening water supply and irrigation infrastructure across Jammu and Kashmir and called upon officials to maintain a strong focus on quality execution of works.

Rana further said that the government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to the welfare of the people and that this commitment should be reflected through timely implementation of projects and quality public services at the grassroots level.
