Reviewing the physical and financial progress of ongoing works, the Speaker stressed the need for their timely completion so that the benefits of development reach the public without delay.

He said developmental projects should improve infrastructure and civic amenities at the grassroots level and directed engineers to address several key issues relating to the Charar-i-Sharief constituency at the earliest.

Abdul Rahim Rather instructed the department to accelerate the pace of work and ensure that all ongoing projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe. He also emphasised that there should be no compromise on the quality of execution and called upon officers to maintain the highest standards in all development works.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Engineer, R&B Central Kashmir; Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle Budgam; Director Finance, PWD; Joint Director Planning, PWD; Chief Planning Officer Budgam; Executive Engineers of Chadoora, Charar-i-Sharief and Budgam divisions; and other senior officers of the Public Works Department.
