JRL calls shutdown today
Srinagar, Nov 25: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for shutdown Monday in Kashmir against the killings of seventeen persons in past three days.
In a statement here, JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik called for complete shutdown on November 26 (Monday) to “strongly protest and denounce the killing of 18 Kashmiris in the last three days.”
The call was issued following the killings of six militants and a civilian in a gunfight and clashes in south Kashmir’s Shopian today morning.
The JRL statement said that “government forces have crossed every limit of tyranny and are enjoying a complete immunity; they are spilling the blood of Kashmiries at will without any remorse.”
