Srinagar, October 18: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman on Thursday Muhammad Yasin Malik expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the mother of JKLF leader Muhammad Yasin Butt who breathed her last today morning.
According to a statement issued by the JKLF party spokesman, Malik who is in police custody said that the demise of this brave mother has saddened us all and we pray to Allah almighty to bestow her with Jannah.
Paying rich tributes to the deceased mother, JKLF chairman said that she was a kind, gentle and dedicated mother who sacrificed a lot for freedom of Kashmir and nevercomplained of any hardship. She always stood firmly at the back of her son Muhammad Yasin Butt when he was languishing in jails and till her last breath remained wedded to the sacred cause.
On receiving the news of her demise, JKLF leaders and activists in large numbers reached her residence, participated in her funeral and burial and expressed condolences to the bereaved family including her sons Abdul Hamid Butt, Muhammad Yousuf Butt, Muhammad Ashraf Butt and Muhammad Yasin Butt.
