BARAMULLA: The Inter-Zonal District-Level Cricket Competition for boys began in Baramulla on Tuesday under the aegis of the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), with matches being played simultaneously at four venues across the district.
The week-long tournament is being conducted at Singpora Kalan, Sopore, Pattan and Boniyar, bringing together teams from different zones of the district.
In the opening matches at the Pattan cluster, Zone Pattan defeated Zone Kunzer, while Zone Singpora Pattan registered a win over Zone Nehalpora.
Officials said the competition will continue through the week, with participating teams competing for district-level honours.
