Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) has concluded the third Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (ESDP) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) initiative at ITI Bemina.
The programme trained 27 aspiring entrepreneurs and was aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial skills, business competencies and self-employment opportunities among participants.
The valedictory function was attended by Mubashir Hafiz Jan, Superintendent, Women ITI Bemina; Naila Khanday; and Shabir Hussain Shah.
Addressing the participants, the speakers encouraged them to develop scalable and sustainable business ventures capable of contributing to local economic growth. They highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship, skill development and capacity building in empowering aspiring entrepreneurs and generating employment opportunities.
The JKEDI course team provided academic guidance and mentoring support throughout the training programme to help participants understand various aspects of enterprise development and management.
Participants expressed satisfaction with the programme and thanked JKEDI for providing them with practical knowledge, mentorship and a platform to strengthen their entrepreneurial capabilities.
The RAMP initiative, supported by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, and the World Bank, aims to improve the performance, competitiveness and growth of micro, small and medium enterprises across Jammu and Kashmir.
