Srinagar: J&K BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul on Saturday inaugurated an exhibition at Zabarwan Park showcasing the achievements and welfare initiatives of the Government of India over the past 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The exhibition, organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha under the campaign “12 Years of Faith, Development & Public Welfare,” highlighted major reforms, development projects and welfare programmes implemented during the period.
According to BJP leaders, the exhibition featured displays focusing on infrastructure development, poverty alleviation, transparency in governance, national security and inclusive growth initiatives undertaken by the central government.
A large number of visitors, particularly young people, attended the exhibition and viewed the exhibits highlighting various government programmes and achievements.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul said the last 12 years had witnessed significant progress in development and governance through people-centric policies and welfare schemes. He claimed that the government’s initiatives had helped improve access to basic amenities, strengthen infrastructure and expand opportunities for citizens across the country.
Koul also stated that Jammu and Kashmir had witnessed improved connectivity, enhanced opportunities for youth and accelerated developmental activities in recent years.
He said the exhibition was intended to familiarise the younger generation with the government’s initiatives and encourage their participation in nation-building efforts.
The BJP leader urged party workers to engage with the public and create awareness about various welfare and development programmes implemented by the government.
Among those present on the occasion were Arif Raja, Sahil Bashir, Sajid Yousif Shah and Majid Khan.
