Srinagar: Tawfeeq Ahmad Dar of Sopore in Baramulla district, founder of Dar Complete Ventures (DCV), was honoured at the Shaan-e-Bharat Awards organised by GHRT International at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.
The award ceremony was held on April 4.
Dar was recognised for his contribution through Dar Complete Ventures and his work in the field of entrepreneurship.
The event was attended by several dignitaries from India and abroad.
Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari, representing North East Delhi in the Lok Sabha, attended the function as the chief guest.
The ceremony was also attended by High Commissioner of Malawi to India, Leonard Mengezi, as the special chief guest, along with Dr. Felix Djan Ofosu, Chancellor of WEBBIC University, Ghana-South Africa.
The award is being seen as a recognition of the growing contribution of entrepreneurs from Jammu and Kashmir at the national level.
