Addressing the gathering, the MLA encouraged youth to explore self-employment avenues and work towards becoming job providers rather than job seekers. He urged them to focus on skill development to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the available workforce.

On the occasion, Para also inspected stalls put up by various departments, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Handicrafts, Handloom, Fisheries, NRLM and Industries, which showcased different self-employment schemes.

The stalls provided information about scheme benefits, financial assistance and application procedures to facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs. The MLA also distributed sanction letters among beneficiaries under Mission YUVA.

Among those present were the Principal of Government Degree College (Boys) Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama, Assistant Director Employment Pulwama, District Employment Officer, Career Counselling Officer and other senior officers from the Employment Department and allied departments.
