Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday met a delegation of the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC), Anantnag, a young BJP leader from Jammu and Kashmir, and a representative of FICCI FLO at Raj Bhavan.
A delegation of the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC), Anantnag, led by its president S. Nanak Singh, met the Lieutenant Governor and apprised him of various welfare-related issues concerning the Sikh community.
Later, Sehar Khan, a BJP leader and International Affairs and United Nations delegate from Jammu and Kashmir, called on the Lieutenant Governor. She presented her official invitation from the World Trade Organization (WTO) for the international forum, Powering the Future, scheduled to be held in September, and briefed him about her participation in various United Nations forums representing India.
Chartered Accountant Shailza Wazir, Member of FICCI FLO and Co-opted Member of the Women and Young Members Excellence Committee of the Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (NIRC-ICAI), also met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues related to women’s leadership and entrepreneurship.
