NC reviews preparations for July 13 Martyr’s Day, Death anniversary of Madar-e-Maharban observances

Srinagar: A review meeting was held at the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar, to assess the ongoing arrangements for the observance of the death anniversary of Madar-e-Meharban Begum Akbar Jehan Abdullah and Martyrs’ Day, scheduled for 11 and 13 July respectively.

The meeting was chaired by the party’s General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, who took a detailed overview of the preparations and emphasized the importance of solemn and dignified commemorations.

Also present in the meeting were Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Showkat Mir, MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar, MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi, MLA Chadoora Ali Muhammad Dar, Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, Provincial President of the Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya Qadri, Provincial President of the Youth National Conference (YNC) Mir Mushtaq, Minority Wing Convenor Sardar J.S. Azad, and District President Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmad, Younis Gul.

The leaders reviewed logistical arrangements and finalized the schedule of events to ensure smooth observance of both solemn occasions, which hold immense historical and emotional significance for the party and the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
