BARAMULLA: Celebrating National Youth Day, Commissioner Secretary, Hospitality & Protocols, Dr Rashmi Singh, today had an exclusive interactive session with youth and women groups at Tangmarag, Baramulla under “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra”.

Director of Hospitality and Protocol, Tariq Hussain Ganai and other officers of the District Administration were present.

The session aimed at fostering dialogue and sharing innovative ideas, aligning with the collective vision of ‘Viksit Bharat by 2047’.

Acknowledging the vital role of youth in shaping the nation’s future, Dr. Singh engaged in insightful discussions, encouraging the exchange of ideas. She laid emphasis on channelling the energy and creativity of youth towards the overarching goal of national development.

The Commissioner Secretary expressed optimism about the collaborative efforts, stating, “National Youth Day serves as a platform to harness the potential of our youth. Their ideas and enthusiasm are crucial in realizing the vision of a developed India by 2047, she added.

During the event, which witnessed active participation from various youth and women groups, elaborate discussion was held on education, entrepreneurship, social development and other vital issues.

“As India aims for a ‘Viksit Bharat by 2047’, such interactions play a pivotal role in shaping policies and initiatives that resonate with the aspirations of the youth,” Dr Rashmi Singh maintained. She reiterated the government’s commitment towards providing opportunities and support to youth enabling them to contribute significantly to the nation’s progress.

The event concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing gratitude for the platform provided to voice their ideas.

Earlier, the Commissioner Secretary inspected stalls installed by different government departments set up with vital information about different government-sponsored schemes for the general public.
