SRINAGAR: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) entered its second day with great fervour as it unfolded in the four wards of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, namely Khanyar, Nai Sadak, Zaina Kadal, and Makhdoom Sahib.

The event garnered an enthusiastic response from residents who congregated around the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) setup.

The participants eagerly tuned in to a recorded message from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, emphasizing the significance of the campaign. They wholeheartedly took the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge, affirming their dedication to the holistic development of the nation.

Adding a vibrant cultural touch to the festivities, local artists presented a lively display of cultural events, enthralling the audience with their performances.

The ongoing yatra aims to spotlight various flagship schemes, including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana, and the Urea Subsidy Scheme. By bringing these transformative initiatives closer to the community, the initiative seeks to foster a spirit of development and progress.

The VNSY promises to continue its journey, creating awareness and understanding of these pivotal schemes, ultimately contributing to the nation’s growth and prosperity.
