Srinagar, June 04: Police in Zadibal arrested two people and recovered a stolen motorcycle from their possession.
Police in a statement said that on 29.05.2018 Police Station Zadibal received a written application from Mudasir Ahmad Shah S/O Nazir Ahmad Shah R/O Habak Hazratbal stating that his bike bearing registration number JK09A-5289 has been stolen by some unknown persons.
On receipt of this information, a case FIR No. 18/2018 under section 379 RPC was registered in Police Station Zadibal. Accordingly a team headed by SHO Zadibal was constituted to investigate the case under the supervision of SDPO Hazratbal.
During the course of investigation, the team arrested two persons namely Wamiq Mehraj Shora S/O Mehraj u din Shora R/O Alamdar Colony Lalbazar and Ikhlaq Ahmad S/O Bashir Ahmad Khan R/O Karfali Mohalla Habakadal A/P Kanihama Nowgam and recovered the stolen bike from their possession.
