On the one hand Govt was claiming to have made appropriate arrangements with regard to Elections and on the other hand there was no security available, which could be determinantal to the electoral process, as that, the Candidates and other leaders of the Party won’t be able to campaign, as they were feeling insecure given the prevailing circumstances, the press release said.

The “ifs and buts” on account of security would endanger the lives of candidates and other party leaders, so Govt must make elaborate security arrangements to ensure friendly atmosphere to DDC candidates, PCC added.

JKPCC urged the Govt not to waste further time and take urgent measure to ensure appropriate security cover the to all those who have been fielded by the Parties to contest elections and other party leaders in J&K.
