KPDCL announces power shutdowns in Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama and Shopian

Srinagar: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in parts of Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama and Shopian due to maintenance works on various 33 kV lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, power supply to Ompora, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8 am to 2 pm on August 31 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Budgam SIDCO line.

Power supply to BK Pora, Khanda, Chattergam, Kenihama, Summerbugh, Railway Station Shalina, Wagoora, Wadpora, Aribagh, Checkpora and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8 am to 2 pm on August 29 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Pampore–BK Pora line.

Similarly, electricity supply to Industrial Estate BAMK, Raja Colony, Alamgari Bazar, Lal Bazar, Hawal and adjoining areas will be affected from 8 am to 1 pm on August 30 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV GIS–BAMK line.

Power supply to Kondabal, Hassanabad, Hazaribagh, JLNM Hospital, Jogilanker, Maqdoom Sahib, Miskeen Bagh, Rozbal and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8 am to 1 pm on August 29 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Khanyar–Rainawari line.

Meanwhile, electricity supply to Gagren, Memender, Sharatpora, Khudpora, Habdipora, Shopian town and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 2 pm on August 30 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Kanipora–Batapora Gagren line.
