SRINAGAR,: Several political and social figures joined the Apni Party on Tuesday during a function held at the party headquarters here.
Those who joined the party included former PCC State Secretary Khursheed Ahmad Zargar from Habbakadal, social activist Tasleem Arif Punjabi from Zadibal and Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar from the Chattabal area of Srinagar.
Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari welcomed the new entrants and expressed hope that their joining would strengthen the party’s organisational base in their respective areas.
He said the new members would contribute to the party’s efforts to serve the people and address public issues.
Among those present on the occasion were party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, District President Srinagar and Constituency In-charge Central Shalteng Zaffar Habib, Constituency In-charge Sonawari-Hajin Imtiyaz Paray, Ward President Natipora Arjumand Makhdoomi, Khurshid Makhdoomi and other party leaders.
