BJP leaders, MLAs, law students’ delegation, Pumbuch Foundation directors meet LG

Srinagar: Several BJP leaders, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), a delegation of law students from the University of Kashmir and the directors of the Pumbuch Cultural Heritage Foundation on Monday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed a range of public and developmental issues.

MLA from Samba Surjit Singh Slathia met the Lieutenant Governor and raised various issues of public importance concerning his constituency.

MLA from Ramgarh Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal also called on the Lieutenant Governor.

Chenani MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia discussed various developmental issues pertaining to the Chenani-Ghordi constituency during his meeting with the Lieutenant Governor, an official statement said.

Former MLC and senior BJP leader Murtaza Ahmed Khan met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed relief and restoration works in the flash flood-affected districts of Rajouri and Poonch.

BJP Youth District Secretary, Srinagar, Tawab Aijaz also called on the Lieutenant Governor.

Meanwhile, a delegation of law students from the School of Law, University of Kashmir met the Lieutenant Governor and submitted a memorandum highlighting various welfare issues concerning the student community.

Separately, Suparna Sapru and Gopi Sapru, Directors of the Pumbuch Cultural Heritage Foundation, also called on the Lieutenant Governor, the statement added.
