Budgam: Liyaqat Ali Mir on Saturday assumed charge as the District Information Officer (DIO), Budgam.
According to an official statement, officials of the District Information Centre, Budgam, welcomed Mir and assured him of their support in the dissemination of government policies, programmes and developmental initiatives across the district.
After assuming charge, Mir reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the department’s role in promoting transparent, responsive and effective communication between the government and the public, the statement added.
