The traffic police said diversion plans have been put in place for both heavy and light motor vehicles approaching from the Beerwah side and advised commuters to use the designated alternative routes and cooperate with personnel deployed on the ground.

Motorists have also been urged to avoid unnecessary travel through Magam during the procession hours to minimise congestion and facilitate the smooth conduct of the event.

The Traffic Police appealed to the public to plan their journeys in advance and strictly follow the advisory and directions issued by traffic officials to avoid inconvenience.
