The meeting was attended by BJP National General Secretary and J&K in-charge Tarun Chugh, J&K BJP president Sat Sharma, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, MPs, MLAs, former legislators and other party functionaries.

Nabin said elected representatives and organisational workers should function as a cohesive team and maintain regular coordination to strengthen the party’s presence at the village, ward and booth levels. He also asked party leaders to intensify public outreach and communicate the policies and achievements of the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He stressed that the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat programme should be organised at every booth across Jammu and Kashmir with maximum public participation.

According to the statement, Nabin and other senior leaders also appreciated the efforts of MLA Mankotia in Udhampur district for organising Mann Ki Baat programmes at a large number of booths and urged other party leaders to expand similar outreach efforts.

Speaking at the meeting, Sat Sharma said the guidance of the BJP National President would further energise the party cadre in Jammu and Kashmir and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to strengthening its organisational network at the booth level, the statement added.
