NC reviews preparations for proposed Jantar Mantar protest

Srinagar: Senior leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) on Wednesday met party president Dr. Farooq Abdullah at his Gupkar residence to review and finalise preparations for the party’s proposed protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

During the meeting, it was decided to invite all constituent parties of the INDIA bloc, along with other political parties in Jammu and Kashmir, to participate in the protest.

The party also resolved to extend invitations to political parties that are not part of the INDIA bloc but are also not aligned with the NDA.

Formal invitation letters will be sent to political parties in Jammu and Kashmir, with Dr. Farooq Abdullah personally writing to their respective leaders, inviting them to join the protest.
