During the visit, he reviewed the arrangements put in place at both transit camps and assessed the need for any additional measures before the start of the pilgrimage.

Officials informed the Deputy Commissioner that adequate arrangements for toilets, healthcare, drinking water, power supply, langars, sanitation, hygiene and bedding had been made and would remain fully functional throughout the Yatra.

Interacting with the deployed staff, Dr. Bhat reviewed their operational preparedness and directed officials to ensure that all promised facilities are provided seamlessly so that pilgrims have a safe and comfortable experience.

He also inspected entry and exit points, parking areas and other critical locations, directing officials to ensure their proper management and continuous monitoring. The Deputy Commissioner further stressed the need for efficient maintenance of drainage systems, footpaths and langar spaces.
