Senior officers from the administration, police, health, municipal services, fire and emergency services, power development, water supply and other departments have been assigned specific responsibilities for the implementation of arrangements.

The measures include route management, deployment of security personnel, traffic regulation, sanitation drives, uninterrupted power and water supply, emergency medical assistance, establishment of control rooms and round-the-clock monitoring.

The administration has also directed officials to maintain close coordination with Muharram committees, religious organisations, community representatives and local volunteers to ensure the smooth conduct of processions and related events.

The general public and mourners have been urged to follow advisories issued by the district administration and police, adhere to designated routes and timings, and cooperate with the authorities.

Organisers and participants have also been requested to observe safety protocols, maintain communal harmony and avoid any activity that may disrupt public order or cause inconvenience during the processions. Officials appealed for full public cooperation to ensure the peaceful observance of Muharram across the Valley.
