Jammu: White Knight Corps commander Lieutenant General P K Mishra on Monday visited forward areas in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district to review the counter-infiltration grid along the Line of Control (LoC) and assess operational preparedness of troops.
“GOC White Knight Corps, accompanied by GOC Ace of Spades Division, visited general areas of Poonch to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness along the LoC,” the White Knight Corps said on X.
According to the army, the corps commander was briefed on the counter-infiltration grid, surveillance architecture, and integrated measures instituted to maintain firm operational dominance in the area of responsibility.
The visit showed strong collaboration with all stakeholders, a vigilant approach, technology integration, and adaptive readiness to address emerging threats, it said.
Despite challenging terrain and adverse conditions, troops continue to exhibit high morale, combat readiness, and steadfast domination, it added.
