Srinagar: A delegation of the Committee on Minority Welfare of the Bihar Legislative Assembly led by its chairman Akhtarul Iman on Monday called on Minister for Health and Medical Education Sakina Itoo and Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani during its visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the developmental scenario in Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir with focus on welfare initiatives, healthcare, education and issues concerning minority communities.
Both sides also discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues for strengthening cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two regions.
The visiting delegation appreciated the developmental initiatives and governance measures being undertaken in Jammu and Kashmir.
The participants stressed the importance of collaborative efforts for inclusive growth and public welfare.
