KPDCL announces power shutdowns across Kashmir from May 16

Srinagar: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas across Kashmir division from May 16 to May 25 due to maintenance and line works.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, shutdown of the 33 KV Sheeri Baramulla-2nd line will affect power supply to Old Town, Azad Gunj, Janbazpora, Jalsheeri, Tawheedgunj, PHE, Irrigation, Zogiyar, Fatehgarh, STC and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 19 and 21.

Shutdown of the 33 KV LJHP Uri line will affect Salamabad, NHPC, MES, TFC, Garkote, Balkote, Bandi, Uri, Mohura, Rampur, Bani, Bihjama, Dhani and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 20 and 23.

Similarly, shutdown of the 33 KV LJHP Boniyar line will affect Boniyar, Trikanjan, Limber, Nowshera, JNV and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 18 and 21.

Shutdown of the 33 KV Amargarh Watergam line will affect Watergam, Hachipora, Palpora, Behrampora, Dangiwacha and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 19 and 23.

Likewise, shutdown of the 33 KV Sheeri Malpora line will affect Chandoosa, Hospital, Dangerpora, Sultanpora, Gantamulla, Malpora, Hevan, Namblan and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 23.

KPDCL said shutdown of the 33 KV Delina line will affect Delina, Kanispora, Singhpora, BSF, Jetty, Kralhar, TC PHE, Sopore-II and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 16 and 19.

Shutdown of the 33 KV Khanyar line and 33 KV Bagh-i-Ali Mardan Khan Takanwari line will affect Miskeenbagh, Rosebal, Hazaribagh, Kondebal, Hasanabad, Jogi Lanker, Palpora, Sangam, JLNM Hospital and adjoining areas from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM on May 16 and 20.

Similarly, shutdown of the 33 KV Potushai Aloosa line will affect Aloosa, Malangam and Quil from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 18.

Shutdown of the 33 KV Bandipora Ajar line will affect Panzigam, Kulsoosa, Kazipora, Khayar, Ajar, Town, Arin and Ahmishareef from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 17.

Likewise, shutdown of the 33 KV Potushai Nadihal line will affect Nishat, Papchan, Ajas, SK Bala, Sadunara, Bazipora, Nadihal, Guroora, Argam and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 17 and 19.

KPDCL further said shutdown of the 33 KV Badampora Lar-Tulmulla line and 33 KV Badampora Kurhama Dab line will affect Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repora, Tulmulla, Dangerpora, Theeru, Larsun, Kurhama, Yangoora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Cheki Baba Salun, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET Safapora and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 18 and 21.

Similarly, shutdown of the 33 KV Badampora Safapora Wangipora Tapline and 33 KV Badampora Army Hakbara line will affect Batwina, Nowgam, Wangipora, Zazna, Ahan, Waskura, Kharbagh, Sumbal, Nesbal, Hajin, Preng, Madwan, Banyar, Hakbara, Chendergeer and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 18 and 25.

Shutdown of the 33 KV Nihalpora Markundal line will affect Markundal, Naidkhai, Sumbal, Gundboon and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 18 and 20.

Likewise, shutdown of the 33 KV Nihalpora HMT line will affect Shadipora, Trigam, Mirgund, Singhpora and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 18 and 21.

KPDCL also informed that shutdown of the 33 KV Kangan line and 33 KV Shariefabad-Wadwan line will affect Mammer, Wangath, Kangan, Akhal, Babanagri Soibugh, Haran, Bonpora, Astanpora, Wadwan, Dharmuna, Russu, Gotpora, Pymus and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 18.
