Deputy CM convenes public outreach programme in Nowshera

Assures swift redress of public issues, concerns

NOWSHERA: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today continued his extensive public outreach programme across Nowshera, holding a series of public interaction sessions and inspections to address the public issues and concerns and review the ongoing development works.

During the outreach programme, the Deputy Chief Minister visited Panchayat Chowki, Handan, Kalsian, Langer, Panchayat Bhawani, Janghar, Laroka, Killa Darhal and Lamberi, where he interacted with the local residents and met various public delegations.

At these locations, several delegations called on the Deputy Chief Minister, highlighting the local concerns and developmental needs. He assured them of the timely and amicable resolution of their genuine issues.

The Deputy Chief Minister listened to their grievances and demands, besides seeking feedback on the implementation of development works in their respective areas. He assured them that their issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for a speedy redress.

The Deputy Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of the ongoing development works at Langer Dhanaka. He stressed strict adherence to the set quality standards and directed the officials to ensure the timely completion of all the projects.

Earlier, he inspected the Bharat Gas Agency at Nowshera to assess service delivery and operational efficiency. He laid emphasis on ensuring uninterrupted and timely LPG supply while maintaining transparency and enhancing consumer satisfaction.

Reiterating the Government’s commitment to grassroots engagement, the Deputy Chief Minister said that such outreach programmes are vital for strengthening the public trust and ensuring that development initiatives are aligned with the needs and aspirations of the people.

He further directed the concerned officers to remain proactive in addressing the public grievances, ensuring that all developmental works are executed efficiently and within stipulated timelines.

Senior officers accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister during the public outreach.
