NC felicitates Ch. Mohammad Ramzan on assuming charge as Addl General Secretary

Srinagar: Farooq Abdullah on Thursday led senior leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference in felicitating Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan on assuming office as the party’s Additional General Secretary.

The felicitation function was held at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, in Srinagar, where Farooq Abdullah and other senior leaders welcomed Ramzan and expressed confidence in his ability to strengthen the party at all levels.

The leaders described Ramzan as an experienced and committed leader and praised his contribution to public service and organisational work over the years.

Speaking on the occasion, Farooq Abdullah stressed the importance of unity, collective effort and a shared vision in advancing the party’s mission.

Senior leaders of the party extended their best wishes to Ramzan and expressed hope that he would continue to serve the people and the party with the same commitment.

The event was attended by party general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, treasurer Shammi Oberoi, provincial president Showkat Mir, former MP Sharief-ud-Din Shariq, MLAs Ali Mohammad Dar, Ahsan Pardesi, Qaisar Jamsheed Lone, Showkat Ganaie, Javed Mirchal, Javed Beigh, Dr Mohammad Shafi and Saif-ud-Din Bhat, among others.

Also present were party spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Women’s Wing president Sabiya Qadri, Youth National Conference provincial president Mir Mushtaq Ahmad and Social Media In-Charge Ifra Jan.

Later, the party leadership accompanied Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan to his office chamber.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramzan reiterated his commitment to strengthening the party and serving the people under the leadership of Farooq Abdullah and the party high command.
