In a separate shutdown, the 33 kV Pampore–Badamibagh Trunk line will also be taken offline to facilitate maintenance and stabilization works. Consequently, the 33/11 kV Receiving Stations at Sonwar, Badamibagh, Panthachowk, Lasjan, Flour Mills, Government Press, GB Pant Hospital, and WSS Tangnar will remain shut. This will affect power supply to areas including Sonwar, Indra Nagar, Batwara, Shivpora, Badamibagh, Lasjan, and WSS Tangnar, and surrounding localities from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on July 2, 2025.

Additionally, a shutdown of the 33 kV Khonmoh SIDCO-3rd line is scheduled to facilitate maintenance works. This will affect power supply to the Cement Plants (Khyber, SAIFCO, and TCI Max) and nearby areas. The 33/11 kV Receiving Stations at these industrial units will remain off from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on July 6, 2025.

KPDCL has urged residents and industrial consumers in the affected areas to cooperate during these essential shutdowns and to make necessary arrangements to minimize inconvenience. The utility added that these upgrades are critical for improving the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution system.
