Blood donation camp held at SDH Sogam

Kupwara: In a significant step toward promoting community health, Public Welfare Trust Doursa (Lolab) and Care for Humanity Trust successfully organized a blood donation camp at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sogam, Lolab.

The event, held in collaboration with SDH Kupwara, was sponsored by HDFC Bank, Handwara, marking the first-ever initiative of its kind at SDH Sogam.

The camp was inaugurated by Fareed Ahmad, Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Sogam, in the presence of several esteemed personalities from Lolab Valley. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with 51 units of blood donated by volunteers from various parts of the valley.

Hafız Sarfaraz Ahmad, Chairman of the Public Welfare Trust, set a commendable example by personally contributing to the cause.
