REMEMBARANCE
In memories we hold, on August’s twenty-six,
A father’s love, a light that forever transfixed.
Though you’ve departed, your teachings reside,
Guiding us through life’s ebbs and flows, like the tide.
Your wisdom and warmth, a legacy so dear,
In every step we take, you’re always near.
Though time may have taken you from our sight,
In our hearts, you’re a beacon of eternal light.
With each passing day, your presence we feel,
In laughter, in sorrow, your love is real.
Through lessons learned and stories shared,
Your spirit lives on, forever declared.
On this day of remembrance, we gather to say,
Your memory lives on, in our hearts you stay.

So as August twenty-sixth dawns anew,
We celebrate you, Dad, with hearts true.
