Baramulla: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a “militant associate” of The Resistance Front (TRF) outfit in Kharchak Kreeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police officer said that a joint parties of police, Army’s 29 RR and 176 Bn CRPF arrested one OGW of TRF outfit namely Gulzar Ahmad Malla, son of Mohammad Gulab Malla, resident of Boniyar Baramulla from Kharchak Kreeri. Two hand grenades were also recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered against him in Police Station Kreeri and further investigations are on, he added.
