6 sheep killed in leopard attack in Budgam

Srinagar: At least half-a-dozen sheep were killed and as many are “missing” after two leopards allegedly barged inside a tin shed where the livestock was kept in Arwah village of Beerwah in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

News agency GNS quoted official sources as saying that two leopards struck the tin shed of one Gulzar Ahmad Chopan killing six of them and while as many others are said to be missing.

A police official said that claims by the owner as regards missing of sheep is being verified.
