Budgam: Two youth were feared dead in two different incidents in Budgam and Pulwama districts.
An 18-year-old youth was feared dead after he drowned in Nilnag Lake while taking bath there in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district Monday afternoon.
Official sources said that a youth identified as Faizan Ahmad Parray, son of Mohammad Ashraf Parray of Kathair-Gund area of Chadoora, drowned when he was taking bath in Nilnag Lake.
They said that after receiving the information, a rescue operation was launched to trace the youth.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old youth was feared dead after he slipped into the River Jhelum in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday morning.
Official sources said that the youth identified as Manzoor Ahmad, son of Mushtaq Ahmed Murad, resident of Hayatpora area of Chadoora slipped into Jhelum while extracting sand.
They said that after receiving the information search operation was launched to trace the youth.
