SRINAGAR: Two Panchayat members from Halqa Kripalgarh, Matipora Block Singhpora, district Baramulla on Thursday joined the Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
A party spokesman said that the new entrants included Abdul Hameed Sheikh and Hilal Ahmad Sheikh.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of the Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Party senior leader Mohammad Dilawar Mir and other senior leaders, said the spokesman.
The party leadership welcomed them into the party-fold while exhorting on indefatigable efforts to be put in for redressal of public grievances, said the spokesman.
