Ganderbal, Sep 08: Despite passing of three years, work on Chapurgund to Gutlibagh road in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has not been completed yet

They said that the contractors are going slowly with their work.  “The roads dug up for work are left open, and despite repeated appeals and complaints by the residents, the corporation authorities have not taken steps to cover the roads for the safety and convenience of the public,” they added.

Locals said that the then PHE minister Nayeem Akther had visited the area while assuring that work on the road will be completed within few months, but it is still incomplete.

They further said, “Due to rough condition of the road, many people have suffered injuries. During rains, the road turns slippery which poses a risk of accidents.”
