Wopzan CC defeats Baba Tigers by 7 wickets

Anantnag, September 05: In the ongoing Mirza Galib T20 cricket tournament being played at Government Degree College Boys Anantnag,  Wopzan CC faced  Baba tigers as they defeated them by 7 wickets.

After winning the toss, Baba tigers elected to bat first and set the target of 107 in allotted 20 overs.

The opening batsman, Mubashir, and middle order batsman, Waseem, of Baba tigers scored 22 and 28 runs respectively for their team, while as others players of the team failed to perform.

Batting order of Baba tigers collapsed when most of its batsmen were not able to stand against bowling attack of Wopzan CC.

While chasing the target of 107 runs, Wopzan CC chased the said target in just 13 overs and losing its 3 wickets only.

Batting brilliantly Aadil Ahmad of Wopzan CC scored unbeaten 60 runs that included 6 sixes and 2 fours. He was Awarded man of the match.
