Seer Youngsters defeats Qazigund by one wicket

Anantnag, 09 August: In the ongoing Mirza Galib T20 cricket tournament at Government Degree College Boys Anantnag, Seer Youngsters faced Qazigund 11 and overpowered them by defeating them by one wicket.

After winning the toss, Qazigund 11 elected to bat first and posted the target of 139 for the host team.

Sammiullah of Qazigund 11 scored 38 runs, while as opening batsmen Jaseem Ahmad and Sameer Ahmad scored 32 and 20 runs respectively for their team as they made a partnership of 41 runs for Qazigund 11.

Qazigund 11 failed to make any partnership as their opening batsmen were dismissed quickly. Meanwhile, the bowling of Seer Youngsters was quite impressive which restricted Qazigund 11 at  A score of 138 runs.

While chasing the target of 139 runs, Seer Youngsters reached the target in the last over of match, when 6 runs were needed from 6 balls.

Bowling of Qazigund was quite impressive which increased the difficulties of the host team.

For Seer Youngsters, Aashiq Ahmad scored 42 runs as he hit 3 sixes and 1 four, while as Aijaz Nabi and Aafaq Pala scored 33 and 20 runs respectively.

Man of the match award was given to Aashiq Ahmad for scoring 42 runs in the competition.
