Affarwat-XI enter final with big win over Royal CC Magraypora

Baramulla: Affarwat-XI Sports Club stormed into the final of the Ramzan T10 Cricket Tournament at Andergam with a comprehensive victory over Royal Cricket Club Magraypora.

Batting first after winning the toss, Affarwat-XI posted a competitive total of 95/2 in their allotted 10 overs. Skipper Shahid Mir led from the front with a fine knock of 43 runs off 30 balls, hitting five boundaries and a six. He was well supported by Mujeeb ur Rehman, who scored a brisk 21 off 14 deliveries.

In reply, Royal CC Magraypora faltered under pressure and were bundled out for just 45 runs in 9 overs. Mudasir was the lone batter to reach double figures, contributing 11 runs.

Affarwat-XI bowlers put up a dominant show, with Shahid Bashir and Aqib Lefty taking two wickets each, while Shakir Lefty, Dar Tawseef, Shahid Mir and Kaiser claimed one wicket apiece.

For his impressive all-round performance, Shahid Mir was adjudged Player of the Match.
