Ncc Danter defeats Devsar-11 by 74 Runs.

Anantnag, 24 July: In the ongoing Mirza Ghalib T20 cricket tournament at Govt Degree College (Boys) Anantnag, NCC Danter faced Devsar-11 and defeated them with a margin of 74 runs.

After winning the toss, NCC Danter elected to bat first and scored 167 runs in allotted 20 overs at the loss of six wickets.

Waseem Ahmad of NCC Danter scored 59 runs, while as Aamir Rasool scored 28 runs for his team and thereby leading their team to set a target of 167 runs for the rivals.

In the second innings of match, the batsmen of Devsar-11 could not stand on the crease for a long time and were bundled out at paltry 88 runs.

Batting order of Devsar- 11 began to collapse right after their opening batsmen got out and they could not score runs in the powerplay of the game.

Seven players from Devsar-11 were caught out without entering double figures, while as one of the batsman of Devsar-11, Ishfaq Ahmad, scored the highest 44 runs for his team but no other batsmen could manage to make a partnership of more than 15 runs with Ishfaq.

Aamir Rasool of NCC Danter was awarded Man of the match for his 28 runs inning and taking 4 wickets during the match.

The tournament is being organized by Islamia Cricket Club.
