Students prefer to join private tuition centers for quality education,  at a time when government schools are unable to ensure quality education and also fail to meet the latest infrastructural demands. Instead of banning tuition centers, government should take steps to ensure quality education in schools.

  Mohammad Iqbal Naik, Govt Employee

There should be complete ban on private tuition centers as teachers tend to be more attentive and focused towards tuition centers only while remaining indifferent towards their duties in their respective schools. If there will be a ban on tuition centers, teachers will show all their concentration in the schools.

Tuition centers play a vital role in today’s education system. It is the only place where the syllabus is completed in time and on the other hand schools and colleges are never able to complete the syllabus of students.

Tution centres must continue to provide supplementary education to the students who are weak in some of their subjects. Also, the quality of education is very bad in government run schools as compared to the private tuition centers.

However, the tuition centers should not violate the norms and guidelines laid down by the government.

Today’s world is full of competitions in which everybody wants to top. Tuition centers provide that quality education which helps the students to ensure their place in the competition.

  Khalid Bashir, Teacher

Private tutoring has become a business in Kashmir in which those engaged are earning a lot of money. Tutors teach very well in these institutes, whereas in schools they don’t show the same dedication.

Ashraf Raavi, Writer

Money making motivates the teachers at tuition centers to deliver lectures with full enthusiasm, whereas the same teachers in schools take their responsibility for granted as there is no proper inspection mechanism in schools. Government officials are focusing on the attendance of teachers and staff only but they do not check the lesson plan, syllabus etc.

   Javaid Ahmad Naik, Govt Teacher

There will be no need of Tuition centers if the government provides all facilities in schools. It is mandatory to ensure completion of syllabus within stipulated time period and ensuring accountability of teachers.
