Srinagar: Police in Srinagar have arrested four drug peddlers and seized contraband substance from their possession.
Based on specific information, a Police party from Police Station Nowhatta arrested four drug peddlers, a police spokesman said identifying them as Abdul Ahad Sheikh, Mohammad Rafiq Sheikh, Mohammad Yousuf Sheikh, and Fahmeeda all residents of Tujgari Mohallah Nowhatta. Police has seized 350gms of Charas from their possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No 32/19 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Nowhatta and investigation has been taken up, the spokesman said.
