Sofi Brothers secure win against Badshah Nagar Cricket Club in super over thriller

Sopore, May 02: Sofi Brothers heaved a sigh of relief after Syed Sagar scored the required 11 runs in super over and helped his team to secure win against Badshah Nagar Cricket Club today here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore.

Earlier bating first, Sofi Brothers put a descent score of 168 runs on the board in the allotted overs. Bilal, Osaid and Waseem were notable contributors of the day for Badshah Nagar as they scored 70, 37, and 19 runs respectively.

In reply, Badshah Nagar Cricket Club after a descent start of Omer Malik and Arjumand Bilal hit the ball in all corners of the ground with some sublime hitting Bilal made 98 runs after facing only 43 balls. Arjumand scored 16 and the team managed to score 168 and the match ended in a tie.

For Sofi Brothers, Samiullah took 4 Wickets and Musaib bagged 2 wickets.

Later, in a super over Sofi Brothers held the nerve and achieved the target of 11 runs with Syed Sagar’s fine bating.

Samiullah Was declared Man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance.
