Bandipora, Jan 26: A man died in a road accident when he was hit by a vehicle in Mangnipora village of Bandipora district on Saturday afternoon.
Reports said that the person namely Mohammad Shafi Dar S/o Abdul Ghani Dar R/o Aloosa Bandipora died on the spot when he was hit by a speedy car bearing registration number JK04B – 0793.
According to reports, Dar, along with another person who was injured in the accident, was in the Bandipora district for some work and while returning they were hit by a vehicle.
Bandipora police while confirming the incident said that the person has died on the spot, while another one has been injured and was shifted to the District hospital Bandipora for treatment.
They said, a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations have been started.
