Sham Choudhary convenes public grievance redressal camp ar RS Pora

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 25: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary today attended a public grievance redress camp at R.S. Pora, during which the Minister listened to the grievances and concerns of the common masses.

The Minister on the spot gave directions to the concerned officers about the redressal of various public important issues raised by the deputations.

Interacting with the people, the Minister said that steps are being taken to upgrade the transformers and repairing the old ones, wherever required.

The people hailing from Suchetgarh Constituency apprised the Minister about the problems being faced by them related to power supply, road connectivity, education, healthcare, sanitation and ration distribution.

The villagers also demanded upgradation of transformers, replacement of electric poles, LT and HT wires, blacktopping of roads and construction of lanes and drains.

The Minister gave all the deputations a patient hearing and assured them all that their genuine concerns and demands will be addressed on priority.

The Minister urged the people to extend support in strengthening the developmental initiatives of the administration.

He further said the government is taking various path-breaking steps for empowerment of poor, youth, women, senior citizens and downtrodden sections of the society. He asked the people to come forward and take advantage of the facilities being provided by the government for the welfare of the people.

Meanwhile, Sham Choudhary also participated 3rd annual day function of the Divine Light Convent School at Dablehar R.S.Pora.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister threw light on the importance of the education. He appreciated the efforts of the school management for their contribution in the education sector.

The school children on the occasion performed musical programme.

The PHE Minister distributed sports kits among the players who recently participated in a volleyball tournament held at Chakroi  Suchetgarh.
