Karnah: Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah Dr Alyas Ahmad, today convened a meeting to discuss the on-ground implementation of the National Nutrition Mission (POSHAN Abhiyaan) in the Tehsil.
The meeting was informed that the NNM has been introduced in both the ICDS Projects Teetwal and Tanghdar of the Tehsil Karnah. It was further informed that the Services are provided in these projects through a network of 121 and 130 Anganwadi centres respectively.
Discussing various aspects of malnutrition, the SDM asked all the concerned officers to put in coordinated efforts to help eradicate anaemia, stunting and other symptoms of malnutrition.
The meeting was attended by CDPO Teetwal Bashir Ahmad,CDPO Tanghdar Fayaz Ahmad, BDO Tanghdar Iftikhar Naseem,BMO Tanghdar, ZEO’s Teewal and Chamkote Zone, SDAO Karnah, TSO And other official of Tehsil administration.
