Tangmarg, August 26: Days after relentless efforts of Wild Life Department, a bear who injured two persons, including a lady, in Ferozpora Tangmarg was finally shot with tranquilizer by the Wild Department officials on Sunday.
According to reports, earlier an official of Wild Life Department namely Ghulam Mohidin Lone and a lady identified as Gulshan Begum were injured in the bear attack.
Meanwhile, the residents of Ferozpora while hailing the efforts of Wild Life Department Tangmarg said that the bear had made it difficult for them to venture out of their homes.
